Thank you for joining us here at HOW Church online.  We believe that the church extends  beyond the church building, but we as individuals and collectively are the church!  The first church model was a gathering  in the home. Deut. 6:6-7 says " And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."  You see? It all starts at HOME!

The below resources are designed to  equip you to be the church...in your home!  According to Acts 2:42 "And they devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers."

1. "The apostle's teaching and the fellowship"  Sharing the Gospel of Jesus is of  utmost importance.  The word "apostle" here is not about a hierarchy.  Instead, it is about sharing the Gospel, which Apostle Peter had just finished doing. Never forsake your primary responsibility to share the gospel with others in your home.
2. " the breaking of bread" refers to the sharing in the Lord's Table.  Exodus 12 initiates the institution of sharing in the Lord's Table with the "Feast of Passover" or the "Feast of Unleavened Bread".
3. "the prayers" Our act of prayer is simply conversing with the Father and petitioning the Lord on our own behalf. Not only that, we must pray for our spouses, our children, our church and our extended families.
